"Unsupported" means not supported in an editable layer. All InDesign features are supported as either Background or Foreground objects. As long as the features below are not needed to be editable by the end user, your designer can keep them and place them in either the Background or Foreground layers.
- Corner effects
- Inline and Anchored objects
- Text wrap around an object
- Tables and footnotes
- Line styles (i.e. multiple strokes or dashed lines)
- Arrowheads
- Text frame shapes
- Stroked text. If you use this method to make fonts look heavier, we suggest that you use a font editor to create a heavier version of your font. (Check your font license regarding the legality of editing your font.)
- Hyphenation
