The advanced Database Calendar view (pictured below) not only enables you to view your Records within a calendar, but also to utilise a range of usability and display enhancements. A few of these include the ability to Filter records on the fly, choose a timeframe, view more information per record and view your Records as a range based on Start and End Dates.

Record display based on Start & End Dates
This enables you to see each record as a range, depending on a Start and End date. These dates can be taken from any Date field within the form. You can also enable Time Support on Date fields to further define your time frames or enable Multi Date Range support (to see the record multiple times according to multiple Dates).
For example, in the screenshot below you can see the Start Date (Submission Date) and End Date ((Due Date) at the top of the page. The record displayed called 'Social Media Banners' has a Start Date of Feb 4th and an End Date of Feb 8th, therefore it is displayed between those two dates.

Multiple Calendar Views
You can now choose from a variety of date ranges to view your calendar display in. The options include Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual views.
You can switch Calendar views by going to the top right of your Calendar and clicking the Calendar icon. Note that this will default to your current view, ie in the example below you would only see the month icon. Click the icon to access a dropdown menu which will allow you to switch views.
If you select a different view to the one you are currently on, the view will automatically update, with your record display also immediately reflecting the new time frame.
The default option is the Monthly View.
Navigating through your Calendar
Within each Calendar view is a number of navigation shortcuts. On either side of the current Date display (ie the range you are currently viewing) are arrows that will take you to the previous and next range in that view, ie the next day, week, month or quarter. This can also be done at the bottom of the calendar.
The Today button will automatically take you to today's date on whichever view you are currently on, for instance within that Week, Month, Quarter, Year or to the specific Day.
You may also notice that an actual day on the Calendar might be highlighted. This is because it is Today. Similarly, on Weekly and Daily views: a Green line will indicate the current time by the minute.
Time Support within Date Fields
If you need your Record to be linked to a specific time of day, you can now enable time selection within a Date field. Doing so will also display the record within an hourly time view on the Calendar Daily, Weekly & Monthly views.

View more information about each Record
Previously, you had to click and open the record to view more information. Now, like other views, you can see a customised snapshot of the record by hovering over the Info icon on the record. This is available on each Calendar view.
When you hover, the popup (example below) displays your secondary fields, Stage and featured column information, along with shortcuts to your Comments, Related items and/or Auto-folder created links.
Click on any Date to Add a Record
If you have a specific Start Date field selected, this Date field on the record will be pre-populated with the date you clicked on.
Compact or Extended Record view
Within your Monthly and Quarterly Views, you can also choose how many records will appear. By default you will be presented by a Compact Display, which will display a few records for each day (the exact number depends on your screen size).
If you wish to see all of your records for the whole timeframe, ie month, then click the Expand icon at the top of your Calendar view. This will automatically display all records and will be the Feature colour when active.
Hide or Show Weekends
Within your Daily or Weekly view, you can choose to Show or Hide Weekends. By default, the setting will be off, so your view will only show weekdays. Once enabled, the setting (couch icon pictured below) will be highlighted with your Feature column.
On your Daily view, the weekends will be skipped as you browse, whereas on the Weekly view you just won't see them at all .
