How to Turn on Public Sharing
To use any of the Public Sharing features, you will need to enable the Public Sharing feature on your platform, as outlined below.
Enabling in Admin Settings
This feature must be enabled within your Admin > Settings page, via a Resources setting called Enable Public Sharing. You can also choose whether you want all of your folders to have this option automatically enabled. Please note that if enabled, all files within these folders can be shared publicly by those with the correct permissions.
Enabling Public Sharing on specific Folders
This ability to share content publicly can be configured on a Folder by Folder basis. In the Folder Settings > Advanced Options section, the Enable Public Sharing checkbox should be selected. Once you've enabled this setting on your folder, you will be able to view the Share / Embed action for all files within the folder, and files are able to be publicly distributed.
