Recurring Alert Options in Databases

Modified on Fri, 23 Oct at 7:25 AM

Recurring alerts can be set up against any date field on a record form. These alerts will trigger a set number of days from the selected date within a record. Recurring alerts are helpful if you want to remind users to monitor or action something on a recurring basis.

Users need at least Manage permission to configure database alerts. To set these up:

1Navigate to the database and access its action menu.
2Click on the Alert Settings option.Database_alerts.png
3Select Published Date, or a Date field from the Field dropdown.
4Select the Recurring option from the Alert Type field.
5The Frequency field will then appear. Enter the frequency you wish to receive the alerts.

As with other database alerts, you can configure conditions that dictate under which scenarios alerts are sent and an optional message the recipients will see on the alert. You can read more about database alert settings here.

Please note that the 'Database', 'Records' and 'Resources' terminology referenced above may appear differently in your platform as these are customisable terms.
