About
The Intelligencebank Assets plugin for Figma (Web & Desktop) makes it easy for designers to search, browse and insert approved image assets from IntelligenceBank into their design files while working within Figma.
The plugin is compatible with the following Figma products:

Installation
You can install the Intelligencebank Assets plugin for Figma from the Figma Community marketplace at this location, or by searching for 'intelligencebank'.
How To Use
- To open the plugin, go the plugin menu, and select IntelligenceBank Assets.
- Authenticate to your IntelligenceBank platform. If you are a Single Sign On user, input your platform URL and then select the Browser Login option from the login page.
- Use the search or browse through folders to find the asset you want to use in your design file.
- Once you have identified the image, select in the dropdown whether to insert the Original or an existing Transformation Preset (Single, or Global, if available).
- If a top level frame or section is selected at the time of the insert, the layer will get placed within it, and the layer name will use the Resource name.
- If a layer within a top level frame or section is selected at the time of the insert, the selected layer will get filled with it. If the selected layer was an image or video, the layer name will automatically be updated with the new Resource Name. This does not apply to Svg files as they cannot be used as fill.
- If nothing is selected at the time of the insert, the asset will get placed by itself in the viewport center.
- The image formats supported for insertion are Png, Jpeg, Gif and Svg.
- The video formats supported for insertion are Webp, Mov and Mp4, with a maximum file size of 100MB.
- While browsing or searching, the connector will only display images that are either in one of these formats, or can be converted to a supported format on the fly by using a Transformation Preset.
Release Notes
Version 1.0.7
- Support has been extended to other Figma products: Figjam, Slides and Buzz.
- Added support for video insertion (mp4, mov, webm), for files under 100MB. Pro plan or above is required.
- Added support for native SVG insertion.
- Transformation Presets can be used for insertion for non-natively supported image formats.
- Improved behavior for insertion: when a top layer or section is selected, image/video/svg is inserted as its own layer instead of a fill, and the layer will use the Resource Name automatically.
- When selecting an existing image or video, and inserting another image or video, the fill replacement behavior will still apply, but now the layer name will also be automatically updated to the new inserted asset's Resource Name.
