Fact Sheets

What are fact sheets?

Fund fact sheets are the short, standardised documents your marketing and compliance teams produce to summarise a fund's objective, performance, holdings, fees, and required risk disclosures. Because fact sheets are used directly by investors and distributors, regulators require specific disclosure language to appear for each fund, and often for each individual share class within that fund. Missing or altered wording on a fact sheet is one of the most common sources of marketing compliance risk.

How do we check Fact Sheets?

Fact Sheet Validation is a capability inside Content Risk Review that automatically checks your fund fact sheets against a golden source,  a reference document that defines the exact wording each fund and share class is required to carry. Instead of a reviewer manually cross-checking every fund mentioned in a fact sheet against a master list, our Content Risk Review capabilities do this automatically and flag anything that's missing or inconsistent.

How it works

  1. You provide (or maintain) a golden source document: the reference file that specifies the required risk disclosures for each fund and share class.
  2. When a fact sheet is submitted for review, the system identifies the fund mentioned in the document.
  3. For each fund, it confirms that every risk disclosure required for that specific fund and share class is present.
  4. If anything is missing, our Content Risk Review flags the first location in the document where the gap occurs, so your reviewer knows exactly where to look.
