This article addresses common questions about the "Load Previous Review" feature in the Content Risk Review Add-in for Microsoft Word.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have reviewed a document, why can't I load the previous review?
There are several possible reasons:
- Document Not Saved: You must save the document after running a review. The Add-in adds the review ID to the document's properties during the save operation. If you ran a review but didn't save the document, the review ID won't be present when you next open it.
- Review Date: The "Load Previous Review" feature is only available for documents reviewed after April 1, 2025. Documents reviewed before this date do not contain a review ID and cannot use this feature.
- Document Conversion: If the document was converted between formats or significantly restructured, the review ID may no longer be present or valid.
Can I review a document with the Add-in and see the review when I open the document in Google Docs?
No. Although you can open a Word document in Google Docs, the Content Risk Review data is specific to the Word Add-in environment.
If you open a Word document in Google Docs, you would need to convert it to a Google Docs file (File menu > Save as Google Docs) and then use the Content Risk Review for Google Docs Add-in to perform a new review. The review data from Word cannot be accessed in Google Docs.
Can I review a document with the Google Docs Add-in and see the review when I open the document in Word?
No. The review data from the Google Docs Add-in is not accessible in Word. If you open a Google Docs file in Word, you will need to perform a new review using the Content Risk Review Add-in for Microsoft Word.
Can I email a document to colleagues and have them see my review?
Yes, with some conditions:
- The document must be saved after review (to capture the review ID)
- Your colleagues must:
- Be IntelligenceBank users with access to Marketing Compliance
- Open the document in Microsoft Word
- Have the Marketing Compliance Add-in installed
- Have access to the same rule sets used in your review
This feature facilitates collaboration on compliance reviews without requiring multiple submissions to IntelligenceBank.
I've reloaded the last review but can't see any risks?
If you reload a review and see a message saying "Looks good! No issues found," there are two possibilities:
- No risks were identified in the previous review
- All risks in the previous review were dismissed
To check for dismissed risks:
- Click the menu icon (⋮) in the top right corner of the Add-in
- Select History
- View any dismissed risks from the review
You can restore dismissed risks by:
- Clicking on the risk in the History view
- Clicking the 'X' icon
- Selecting 'Restore'
Why are some of the risks in this review no longer relevant?
If you've edited the document since the last review, some risks may no longer apply to the current content. When you reload a previous review, you're seeing the risks as they were identified in that specific review, which might not match the current document state.
For the most accurate results that reflect your current document content, start a new review rather than loading a previous one.
