The User Profile page is used to manage the details included as part of a User's profile such as their Name, Email and the option to reset their password. It is also possible to update their User Groups here, though this does not include editing or updating the current user permissions within the groups they are part of.
*If you would like to make changes to a users permission groups, please consider contacting your account manager prior to making any changes.
Editing a User:
To edit a User, go to Admin > Users and click on the name of the user you want to edit. Then you can update a User's information.
To delete a User, go to Admin > Users and click on the delete button.
Change a Users Status
To change the status of a user go to Admin > Users and select a user from either the user list or with the search tool. Click on their name to access their user information. This view will allow you to update their status by selecting a new option within the Status field. You can also add and remove any groups a user should be associated with.
*Note that when suspended users are made active again they will automatically receive a Reset Password Email, even when welcome mails are not enabled.
Changing a User's Email Address
When the Allow Changing Email Address option has been selected in Admin > Settings, users will be able to edit their own email address/login at any time.
To change your email address go to My Account to update your profile.
If the Allow Changing Email Address option has not been enabled, then non-admin users are not able to change the email address/username set against their account for accessing the site.
Admin users will need to make these changes on their behalf.
To change a user's email address, click on their name in Admin > Users, enter the new details, and then Save to update their profile. The user will need to login to the platform using the updated details moving forward.
To change the email address details for a deleted user, you will need to reactive the account and then make the changes.
*Note that a user's password will remain the same even if the email address is changed - they always have the option to reset it themselves from the login page.
