IntelligenceBank does not alter the transparency of images, nor do we physically alter your images when stored. Only when you embed new or updated metadata into an image, will it be altered.
If an image has transparency when uploaded, it will keep it upon download in the same file format.
Depending on the software you then open it in, an image may display with a white background even though it has transparency.
PNG format maintains transparency, so if the original was a Photoshop file, for example, it will also maintain any transparent parts of it during the flattening/conversion process.
Illustrator files created in CYMK will preview with a white background. Transparency can only be shown in preview images if converted to RGB color profiles. Downloading the file will preserve the transparency, regardless of the preview image.
