Proofing & Review Request Updates
Proofing, aka Markup Comments and the Review Request pages have now been combined and updated, catering for an enhanced user experience. The changes ensure users are guided through the process of giving feedback on an approval request.
All of the main steps that occur when providing feedback for a Resources Publish or Feedback Request have been moved into the tabs at the top of the page, allowing users to Markup > Add Versions / Revisions (addressing the requested Markup changes) > Adding in a final Response when the multiple rounds of feedback have been completed in the first 2 tabs.
You can read more about those changes here.
Bulk Upload Duplicate Handling
The recently updated Bulk Upload feature now has the ability to recognise when multiples of the same files have been added to the Bulk Upload screen. This allows users to decide whether or not they wish to keep Duplicate Uploads, before they're added to the platform.
Users can view indicators of these Upload Duplicates against each file, as well as a Filter which allows them to see a list of all files added in the existing Upload request which have a duplicate.
Compare Versions & Revisions in Proofing
Markup Comments and Proofing is a feature which allows users to collaborate on a Resource being created or updated as part of an approvals process. One of the most important actions within this feature is the ability to Add a New Version / Revision; allowing for changes to be requested, actioned offline and the updated file added for further feedback or approval.
Users are now able to compare Versions / Revisions, allowing them to easily compare the differences between two versions of a file. Having both files on the same screen makes it easy to compare Version 1 to Version 2 and see if the updates requested in the Comments of Version 1 have been addressed. Users can also resolve and respond to comments on this page, enabling them to both acknowledge the changes have been completed or provide additional feedback.
You can read more about the new Compare Version / Revision feature here.
