Why can't users see the correct homepage?

If there any issues with users not seeing their correct homepage, please review the below troubleshooting steps.

Troubleshooting Checklist:

Main Admins will be able to troubleshoot this issue by following the below steps:

1. Confirm which division and group(s) the user is in within the Admin>Users section
2. Review the user's division in the Admin>Divisions section to see what is selected under Select Default Homepage
3. Go to Admin > Templates and go to the Navigation Bar section
4. Find the navigation item that matches the Select Default Homepage from step 2
5. Open it to confirm what the related Select Custom Page is
6. Go to Admin>Groups and select the affected user's group. Navigate to the group's permissions area and the Custom Pages section to confirm the group(s) has View permission to the homepage. Please reach out to the IntelligenceBank Support team if you have any questions about how to navigate here.

Key Points to Keep in Mind:

• Division:
  • Users can only be assigned to one Division
  • Each Division has a single, dedicated home page assigned to it
• Groups:
  • Group permissions are what drive whether users can view (or edit) home pages. Irrespective of what users' divisions have been assigned to, you will need to also assign View permission to your user groups to whichever homepage each user group should see
• Group - user as a group
  • Select sites may use this advanced feature
  • Under Admin<Groups>User as Group, search for the individual user
  • Select the edit icon next to the user's name and navigate to Permissions
  • Check custom permissions have not been applied that override the Group permissions
