What's Changing: Platform Navigation & Admin Update

Modified on Sat, 17 Oct at 3:02 AM

Your IntelligenceBank site is being moved onto our updated platform architecture in Q3 & Q4 2026. This is a behind-the-scenes infrastructure change, and the vast majority of your day-to-day workflows won't change at all. Below is a summary of what you and your admin team will actually notice.

Faster, smoother navigation

  • Pages load significantly faster across the platform.
  • Moving between pages no longer triggers a full page reload. It will feel quicker and more responsive, closer to a modern web app.
  • Menus now consistently reflect each user's actual permissions, including nested sub-menus.

A visual refresh

  • Minor, platform-wide polish: consistent spacing and alignment in the navigation bar, tags, and dropdown menus.
  • A few small, global colour and styling adjustments for visual consistency.
  • The Collections icon now always shows its label, rather than only on hover.
  • Admin > Filters has been updated with an upgraded UI and UX, making it easier to apply filters, particularly when adding Folder restrictions.

Logging out now ends all sessions by default

  • When a user logs out, all of their active sessions (other browsers/devices) are now ended by default.
  • A confirmation prompt gives the option to log out of just the current session instead.

What's new in Admin > Templates (Navigation & Branding)

This is the area your admin team will notice the most, as it has been rebuilt to work natively with the new platform:

  • Admin Users can now preview all the changes in the Templates area before applying them to the rest of the platform, making it easier to view the implications and visual impact of any changes.
    • A key callout here is for the navigation bar itself, ensuring Menu display changes can be viewed ahead of rollout.
    • This also extends to all custom icons. For example, previewing the new Folder icon in all layouts, i.e. card and list.
  • WCAG checks have been added to Color fields, ensuring accessibility is catered for when selecting platform colors.
