How do I configure the frequency of mark up comment alerts?

Modified on Wed, 29 Apr at 5:27 AM

Platform administrators have the ability to set default markup alerts for all users, but you also have the ability to adjust the frequency of these alerts for your own personal account. You might consider setting up your own alert cadence if you think the default frequency is too high or low, depending on the number of emails you receive and/or whether you'd like to action alerts more swiftly.

To set your own markup alert cadence:

  1. Hover over your name in the top right hand corner of the screen
  2. Select MY ACCOUNT from the dropdown list
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select DETAILS for Alerts (Markup)
  4. There are options for several types of comment alerts:
    • New Comments
    • New Replies
    • Updates to Comment status
    • Edited Comments
    • Deleted Comments
  5. To change the frequency of the alerts from Admin Default, click on the dropdown menu and select either Custom or Off
  6. If selecting Custom you can toggle the instant alert either on or off
    • Off will automatically place the toggle in the Off position

Be sure to select the Save Alerts button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Note that the alert frequency is not something that you can customise on an approval/workflow basis. The alert settings you configure will apply across any approval/workflow you are @mentioned in.
