Database Sort Order Options

Modified on Sat, 10 Oct at 7:17 AM

IntelligenceBank offers four order options for sorting databases:

  • Alphabetical: by default, will display databases alphabetically by database name (0-Z).
  • Last Updated: by default, will display databases by most recently updated to last
  • Date Added/Created: by default, will display databases in order of most recently added to oldest.
  • Custom: this allows Admins to manually order the databases in a custom order. For more information about how to arrange databases in a custom order, refer to this article.

Setting the Database Sort Order

By default, the database sort order across all databases is set by Main Admins in the Admin > Settings area of the platform. For more information about how to do this, click here.

Note: Any changes made to the default database sort order will retroactively change the sort order of all databases in the platform. However, you may need to logout and log back in to see the change.

Individual users can choose to view databases in a different sort order by following the below steps:

1Navigate to Databases Go to Databases in your platform.
2Locate the Sort Order icons In the upper right-hand side of the page, locate the Sort icon.
3Choose an order Select whichever sort order option you'd like to display databases in.
Note: Individual users cannot set their own default database sort order. Switching the order this way only applies to the session you're currently in.

Please note that the Database module terminology referenced above may appear as another name in your platform as these are customisable. You can see comparable terms here.
